Amazon.com Product Description
Lightweight and secure enough for vigorous active use, the MDR-Q22LP headphones--part of Sony's w.ear line--feature a comfortable clip-on fit that follows the contour of your ears. Both the turning adjustment and spring action earpiece allow for easy manipulation for a dialed-in fit. The snug fit design is built to withstand exercising, skating, dancing, or other sports. The MDR-Q22LP earcups use an open-air design that lets you hear ambient sound. This ability to hear outside noises is a safety issues as much as a quality of sound issue. With these headphones, you can keep track of car horns, passing bicyclists and barking dogs.

These headphones have impressive 30 mm driver units which produce a rich bass sound. Neodymium magnets give the headphones maximum energy at a minimal size and weight. The PET diaphragm keeps distortion to a minimum. Remember that the MDR-Q22LP's clip-on design is hair-friendly and keeps the size of the headphones small. Their tangle-free storage cord is adjustable, making for easy storage in a backpack, briefcase or purse. The headphones come with a 1.5 meter cord, and their straight-shaped plug is tailor-made for active use.

Great sound, resonable price. Will not be disappointed with these ear phones. The changable color is a nice feature.

I was looking to replace my old Panasonic clip headphones that recently died on me. I decided to give these a try since they have pretty great reviews on Amazon. I'm not an audiophile, so I can't say much about the sound (it sounds great to me!), but I can say that these headphones are not suitable for those with smaller ears. The hook is too large/long and if your ears aren't big enough, they'll start to slip, especially when you're running and working out.
I took my pair to the gym today and was uncomfortable with the lack of grip these headphones have. I had to constantly readjust the headphones and was bothered by them the entire time.
Otherwise, these seem to be a great pair of headphones. The cord was a bit too long for my liking, but I'm sure other people find it useful. Also, the plug part is bent and re-inforced, which makes it sturdier and less prone to bending/breaking (that's how I ruined my last pair of headphones).

I bought a pair of these in my sophmore year of high school and I'm now about to be a senior in college. It's true the plastic over the ear part is breakable but you just have to be a little careful. I think these fit marvelously on my ears and I got them because I thought they would fit well unlike the earbuds which always fall out of my ears. The sound quality on these is fabulous for the price and the open style. I have a pair of bass boosting Skullcandies [shameless plug] and yet I still turn to these guys for the comfort and quality for the gym or when it's raining. The cord is supposed to be tangle-less or something like that but it is one of my most tangled cords pretty much all the time. It never gets into impossible knots and I have figured out that if you start untangling them as you turn on your mp3 player, the start up time usually equals the untangle time for me, or about so anyway. I used to use these as my regular headphones until I got the Skullcandies so they are great for everyday too. And as you can see from me having them for 5+ years, they are quite durable if given just a little care. I totally recommend these as everyday headphones [they won't block out all the noise but the sound quality is so good] or as an excellent gym pair.

These earphones work fine. They don't interfere with your activities, and don't bother me wearing them.
I have noticed what appears to be wind noise, where the wind whistles between the earphones and my ears.
Also, they take more effort to put on (with the earpiece) than some other earphones.

Good head phones but I use them only for running and exercising. I like to have loud music playing and these headphones seem not to get as loud as Id like. They are comfortable and, for the price, I do not feel like I was ripped off. Again good phones, just wish they could get a bit louder.
