It was actually easy to install EXCEPT for the fact screws snap. When you get to the last 1/4" of screw the bolts into the wall be very careful the can weaking and snap. Do you want your expense tv hanging on these cheap screws.... I don't think so. I went to Orchard Hardware and bought new screws after two snapped in off in the wall. Before you ask did I drill pilot holes... ah yes... I followed directions to a t. Which I have say are very goofy looking directions. Do I feel I tightened the screws to tight... not really since I still had a washer moving around. Just cheap quality. We are relying on our tv staying put not hitting the floor because of cheap screws.

Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5 Easy, solid mounting unit, 2010-07-23
I purchased this to mount a 46" LCD TV, that I had not yet purchased. After I purchased the mounting unit, I decided to upgrade my TV purchase to a 55" LCD TV. The mounting unit worked great either way. The mount holds the TV 2 1/2 inches from the wall, and the mount will allow the TV to tilt 12 degrees (per the instruction sheet). For my 55" TV, that was almost exactly the match of tilt and wall separation to allow the bottom of the TV to come close to but not quite contact with the wall at its maximum downward tilt. The mounting kit also includes multiple sets of screws into the TV, which likely will meet all TV manufacturers mounting hole requirements. The only thing that made me a little uneasy was that after mounting my TV, the TV will slide fairly easily to the left or right on the wall mounting bracket (at first I thought it might slide off, but the ends of the wall bracket are bent to keep that from happening).

A few months ago, I purchased a UN46C6400 TV. Right next to it was a Wall Mount which said "Fits most TVs from 32 to 55" "

I should have looked further into it when it said "MOST"

I was all excited to get TV up on wall, and had the mount already on the wall. I was then in the final step of putting the screws into the back of the TV, when I realized the "MOst" wasnt all...

I ended up returning that and purchased this mount from Amazon. Not only did amazon ship it out lightning fast, but the quality and included hardware was GREAT. I had the TV up in no time. Also, the fact that its not a TOTALLY FLAT mount is also great...it gives room behind TV for cables and power.

Totally recommend using this with thin samsung TVs

Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5 Excellent Mount, 2010-07-30
I purchased this mount from amazon as it was half the price of the same mount being sold at Best Buy. I received the mount fairly quick after ordering. It came with all the necessary hardware to mount my Sony Bravia 46"led tv. . I used the supplied lag bolts to mount it into the studs above my fireplace. I did have one lag bolt break during the process and had to move the bracket just a bit. Yes, I did drill pilot holes. The rest of the process was a breeze. In the end, I grabbed the bracket and put as much weight on it I could (I'm 6'2" & weigh about 230lbs.) and the bracket held. I hung the tv on the bracket and tilted it out to hook up the the components and began enjoying my new tv. I think this is an excellent bracket, quick and easy to mount, and 1/2 price of what you would by in the store.

We have been using this mount for about a month now, and it works just fine. The price was right, it was delivered promptly, relatively easy to install compared to some other mounts that we saw. We wanted one that doesn't swivel left/right, and this fits the bill perfectly. Holds up securely on the wall and our 56' LCD TV is going nowhere on this. Great item. Certainly recommended.
