Product Description Why do photographs sometimes not appear onscreen with the vibrancy of how the scene was shot? Why does color vary from monitor to monitor? The fact is, all monitors (yes, both new and old) display color differently. But with Eye-One Display LT, you can achieve accurate onscreen color just like the pros – without having to become a pro. Eye-One Display LT calibrates your monitor and adjusts the color onscreen, so your images remain true. Now you don’t have to make excuses for poor color; your work can speak for itself.

Very frustraiting, 2010-03-26 I can live with a cumbersome software but what's much worse is every attempt to calibrate my monitor yielded a very crappy looking picture with a pronounced color cast. Absolute waste of money.
Monitor: BenQ 241W
OS: Win7 32 & 64 bit
Don't waste your money, 2010-02-16 First and foremost, this product does not do what it is advertized to do. The software did not install at all. I had to go to their website and download the latest software and diagnostics. And I spent far too much time trying to just get the software up and running. Second, the item did NOT measure any contrast on my LCD monitor. When I called tech support, which did call back the next day, they said it is common for contrast to not be properly read on LCD monitors and to use the default contrast setting. Huh? He then tried to talk me into upgrading to the Display 2, which has a lot more functionality, for $99 but he thought he could get me 25% off. I thought they should have given me a much better deal than that to compensate me for a product that did not work as advertized. I sent this back and hope I get my money back. It is NOT worth your $$$; spend it on something else.
Works as advertised, 2010-08-23 I use with a MacBook Pro glossy screen and a secondary Dell matte display. I've tried the Spyder Pro 2 and always got a red tint on my MacBook Pro, so thought I'd try this one. I still get a slight red tint and if I set solid gray to background on both monitors they do not match at all. The glossy display on the MBP is a pita and I wish I had not gotten it. I don't blame the i1 Display2 for this problem. When working on images, they are very close, much, much better than with the calibration from the Spyder. For me, good enough, but if I did this professionally I would never again look at a glossy display. I use ColorEyes Display Pro 2 for software, not the included software, which was not user friendly but seemed to work fine. You will need Rosetta installed if using the iMatch software, not cool.
Best calibration for the money, 2010-01-30 For calibrating a PC monitor, nothing could be easier. You just plug it in, stick it to the center of the monitor, and run the software. Presto! Perfect colors. This will even work with the freeware ColorHFCR software to calibrate an HDTV. Clearly the best bang for the buck.
Easy installationa and usage, 2010-01-28 I have noticed an improvement in the output of my photographs helping me in the process of producing my artworks.
