Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5 AmazonBasics getting it right, 2010-08-23
This good-value, good-sized case holds my Xacti movie camera just nicely. The zippered pocket is useful for accessories, too. AmazonBasics is doing some good stuff.

Not much else to say about this product, really. If you need a case this size, go for it.

Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5 OK - but Nothing Special, 2010-08-27

I was pleased to receive this, it was adequate and served it's purpose, my camera fit into the case fine, it was soft and comfortable to wear, but overall I found it to be average, and
nothing special.

Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5 nice pouch, 2010-08-30
This is a small pouch, about 4 inches wide, 6 inches tall, and 2 inches deep. It consists of one main, large area, with a small zippered pocket on the pouch front. A flip over top cover secures on the front with hook-and-loop material, and covers the zippered pocket when closed. The top cover has a vinyl, leather-look patch on the front.

The pouch is made of a lighter weight Cordura-type nylon material, and has a large (1 and 1/2 inches) belt loop on the back, which also secures with a healthy patch of hook-and-loop material.

The inside is padded and lined with a soft material to avoid scratching the contents. It is roomy for its size, and flexible enough to allow items which may not be exactly the right square shape.

It is well-made, with seams all even and tight, and no sign of cutting corners. A good little pouch which will get a lot of use from a pack-rat like myself.

Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5 Sturdy Protective Case, 2010-08-26
I got this in the hope that it would work for my Kodak Zi8 video camera. It fits perfectly!

The case has a stiff frame, but is nicely padded to cushion your camera. The exterior is a durable polyester, and the interior is very soft, so you camera will be protected.

There is a small zippered pocket for spare memory cards and other small parts (I can fit my extra battery there).

The belt loop is made of Velcro, and the size of the loop can be easily adjusted. I do not use it on my belt, but found that it attaches nicely to the strap of a purse or laptop case.

This is a great camera case--just what I was looking for.

Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5 Perfect for Mini Camcorders!, 2010-08-24
I bought this specifically for my Sanyo Xacti mini camcorder and it fits perfectly. It should hold most pocket camcorders, as well as most compact digital cameras. The case has a belt loop on the back to attach to your belt. The "loop" fastens with velcro at the bottom so you don't have to actually take your belt off to put the case on. I might actually feel more secure if the loop was sewn on both ends rather than using velcro, but I am probably in the minority as I am willing to sacrifice some convenience for a more secure fit. Most people will be perfectly happy with the case - I have not had any problems so far and I am fairly active when I am carrying the camera and case.
