This years Madden 2005 is a pretty cool game. I just wish they would improve the graphics like in ESPN NFL 2k5. The heads on the players look like really big dead ballons in relation to their body size and the crowd animations and grass textures are just plain ugly. As always, the Madden series has excellent gameplay and slick menu systems. John Madden's play by play is really cool. If the developers could improve the graphics this game would be awesome. I like my video games to look as realistic as possible like Doom 3 or Ghost Recon 2. Madden has the gameplay now they have to improve and update the graphics.

I've been afraid of buying a football game for the Xbox because I didn't want to go too deep into a franchise mode or press 15 buttons to throw a pass or whatever. This game is total fun. Controls are easy to master, players look great, and game mechanics easy to learn. Just playing the game is fun. I totally recommend it!

Do you like hardcore, hard-hitting football? If you do you would love this game. Madden is the number one selling football franchise for electronic gaming. Rated 9.5 by Game Choice Magazine it truly is one of the best, giving you the most realistic experience with awesome graphics, but still staying true to the strategy and challenge of football. This game is a football fans dream come true.

Most importantly Madden 2005 has face-melting graphics which makes it look very realistic. People sometimes mistake the game for T.V. It's that good! For example when a play goes bad or good, the players will have emotions that show how their feeling. Also the running backs won't just fall down they'll spin, juke, and even jump over defenders! It really is the top of modern day technology.

In addition to the awesome graphics Madden 2005 has many different game modes that let you enjoy the game in different ways. You can play franchise mode which allows you to be the owner and coach of and NFL team and take them all the way. Signing and trading players, even setting the prices of food in your stadium. The second mode is season where you're just the coach of a team and try to win the super bowl. Hint you cannot sign or trade players in this mode. The third and last mode is mini-camp where you can do drills that make your players rating higher.

Lastly Madden 2005 is commentated by John Madden and Al Michaels. Two of the most famous commentators of pro football that commentate Monday Night Football, really bring life, excitement, and comedy to the game. Whether it be talking about a hit or talking about how stupid a play was. Their great!

This game Madden 2005 makes a connection to real pro football. It shows how NFL teams are run today. By taking a team based on a budget and sign, trade, even draft players right out of college. Also you can hire staff such as a coach, offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, special teams coach, and athletic trainers. If you don't like them fire them. You have the power in Madden 2005.

Any football fan would love this game! I would recommend ages 5-up because sometimes the controllers in Madden 2005 are complicated and children 5 and under wouldn't understand the money budget in franchise mode.

Now since you have seen all the features and awesome things Madden 2005 offers there's no reason not to try it. Now go out buy it, invite over a couple of friends, and go at it! You can't go wrong with Madden 2005. It truly is amazing.
