I read some of the other reviews and either they worked or they dont. the first one i got actually didn't work, but i called them and they were able to replace it for free of charge. The second one works great and for 2 bucks how can you go wrong? (cost over 30 at apple)

My original shuffle adapter broke so had to get a new one that was cheap. This fit the bill nicely.

What do you want for less than $2 (including the shipping)? It plugs into the USB port of your computer and charges your ipod. That's it. If you've more than 1 USB port it may get in the way of the other with the ipod attached. Bought one more than a year ago and it's still working the way it did when I bought it. And it's flat...which means it is less likely to break or get crushed when I put it in my backpack.

My wife's shuffle quit working and for less than two bucks it was worth a try to see if it was the charging cable. This fixed it and is much less bulky than the original.
