Does exactly what it's supposed to. Holds tight to a smooth surface, has a firm gooseneck and a great padded cradle for my iPhone 4. And it's like $7! If it works for a couple months I'm totally happy. I'm ordering 2 more now. I just returned a crap, "iLevel" iphone holder that was $30 and broke immediately. This holder is the best I've seen at a great price.

Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5 The suction works great, but it "blocks" the touchscreen function (?!?), 2010-05-12
The suction cup works perfectly for me, but *something* about those side grips (I think) prevents me from using the HTC Droid Incredible's touch screen! The touch-screen aspect works sometimes, but never completely--nowhere near as good as it does when I'm holding the phone in my hand.

When I take the phone out, it's back to normal. When I place it back in (even LOOSELY gripped!), the touch screen fails to respond in a useful way (it senses one out of every 8 swipes or so, and then misses the full swipe).

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm thinking of modifying the gripper part, but would love to hear of other people's experience, first.

Also--the left hand gripper blocks the Micro-USB cable port, so there's another job for the coping saw!

Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5 AC vent i-phone holder, 2010-07-20
While the holder works well in the A/C vents the holder itself would not work with my phone as I have a belt clip mount on my phone and it doesn't fit in the phone holder, but I will jury rig it to work. For a regular i-phone it will work fine and picks up satellite signals well so that you can use it to navigate in the car.
Service from the seller was very prompt and the article is as advertised. Good seller.

Mine didn't last...

Originally, I put onto the windshield and it stays on the windshield fine... holds the iPhone nicely in place. However, I felt that it's blocking my view and decided to move it by the vent. Right there and then one of the part broke and I can't use it anymore. Not sure if I was too rough or what... just wish that it would be a bit stronger.

I have had this product for about a month . I use it in a concrete mixer truck . Thru all the construction sites , bumps , bangs and occasionally slapping it with my clipboard , it has remained strongly attached and has not come off once . I put it on once and there it stays . Works well , definitly worth the money ....
